Always a smooth rental

I've rented from Easirent several times now, mostly for airport pickups. This time I got a Compact SUV Rental from their Orlando location. Just like before, the pick-up was quick, and the car was clean and ran great. It's consistently good, which is why I keep coming back instead of trying other places.

Good value, some waiting

I rented a Standard Sedan Rental for a week from the Las Vegas airport location. Booking online was straightforward, and I prepaid for the early booking discount. The shuttle to the lot took about 15 minutes, which wasn't ideal after a long flight. The car itself was fairly new and clean. Drop-off was easy. I also added the Collision Damage Waiver for peace of mind. Customer support was helpful when I called with a question about mileage limits before my trip. Overall, a solid experience for the price.

Decent deal for a first timer

This was my first time using Easirent. I needed a car for a short weekend trip and was looking for the best price. I got an Economy Car Rental. I found a weekly rental rate that worked out well, even though I only needed it for a few days. The total cost was definitely less than what some bigger names were asking. Worth it for what I paid.

Fantastic convertible rental!

I rented a Convertible Rental for my trip to Miami, and it was perfect! The car was super clean and drove beautifully. Pick-up at the airport was a breeze. I really enjoyed cruising with the top down the whole time. Will definitely be renting from them again when I'm back in Florida, and I'm telling all my friends about it!

Has anyone had to cancel a prepaid booking with them? What's their policy like? Hoping it's not too bad.

A Alex 2 months ago
It depends on when you cancel. If it's super last minute, you might lose some, but if you give enough notice, you usually get most of it back. Check the fine print on your booking.

I cancelled one about a week out and got a full refund, but I think if it's within 24-48 hours, they might keep a small fee. Always worth looking at the cancellation terms in your confirmation email.

Any experience with their military discount? Is it a pain to get it applied or pretty straightforward?

M Mike 1 month ago
I used one for a booking in Texas. Just had to show my ID at the counter, no problem.

I think you just put in a code when you book online and then verify at pickup. Didn't have any issues when my brother used it.

thinking of doing a one-way rental from Orlando to Miami, does Easirent even allow that? some places make it a huge pain.

J Josh 1 month ago
They do, I've seen it as an option when searching. There's usually a drop-off fee though, which can sometimes be a lot.

Yeah, they definitely do one-way rentals. Just select different pickup and drop-off locations when you search. The fee varies a lot depending on distance and demand.

how strict are they with the minimum age? my friend is 20 and wants to rent for a weekend trip.

W Wendy Doyle 2 months ago
Pretty sure most places, including Easirent, require you to be 21. And then there's usually a young driver fee if you're under 25.

R Renee Bennett 2 months ago
Yeah, 21 is usually the rule, and they'll charge extra if you're not 25 yet. Not many places let 20-year-olds rent, unfortunately.

Hey, thinking of booking with Easirent for my Florida trip next month. Are they legit? Never heard of them before.

S Sam A. 2 months ago
Yeah, they're legit. Used them in Vegas last year, no issues. They're a real company.

Totally. They're a smaller, low-cost option, kinda like Fox or Payless. Not a huge name like Hertz but they're not a scam if that's what you're worried about.

What's the deal with payment? Can I use my debit card for the rental or do they only take credit cards?

C Chris Foster 2 months ago
I think you need a credit card for the deposit at least, but you might be able to pay the rental itself with a debit. Better check their site.

E Emma 2 months ago
Afaik, you generally need a credit card. Most rental places are like that for the hold. They sometimes make exceptions for debit if you have a return flight and prove you have insurance, but it's a hassle.
